Rare french “lyra” clock hours and half hours striking.

Case: gilt bronze case with gilt bronze decoration and white marble base.

Dial: white emillé dial with black roman numbers for the hours and red arabic numbers for the month calendar and black index for the minutes.

Movement: “squelettre” movement with knife sospention, “Chevilles d’Amant” escapement and grate pendulum. Hours and half hours striking. Two weeks winding.

Period: Paris - France, end of XVIII century.

Signed: on dial “Vallry à Paris”.

Dimensions: circa cm 48,5 (height), cm 28,5 (width), cm 11 (depth).
