Little temple clock
“Temple” shape french clock with hours and half hours striking.
Case: white and blue/grey marble case with gilt bronze feets and friezes.
Dial: two horizontal revolving enamel dials: one for the hours and one for the minutes.
Movement: brass and steel movement with anchor escapement and silk suspension. Striking hours and half hours on a bell. 8 days winding.
Unsigned.
Period: Louis XVI, circa 1780.
