Case: black and white marble case with browned and gilt friezes and figures.
Dial: white enamel dial with black enamel roman numerals for the hours and black enamel arabic numerals for the minutes. Fretworked and engraved golden hands. Month calendar with arabic numbers and browned steel hands.
Movement: gilt metal movement with anchor escapement and suspention pendolum. Hours and half hours striking. 8 days winding.
Signed: "Chopin a Paris" on dial.
Period: Louis XVI, circa 1880.
