Rare french table clock with Putto shape and hours and half hours striking.
Case: the clock is supported by a patinated bronze “putto” on a Siena marble base.
Dial: silvered dial with roman numerals for the hours and outer track divisions for the minutes. Breguet blue-steel hands.
Movement: brass and steel movement with anchor escapement, hours and half hours striking. 8 days winding.
Signed: on base “L.J.” and on movement “Honoré Pons”.
Period: circa 1820.
