Marine Chronometer by Huges - London
English marine chronometer with power reserve of charge.
Case: a cubic mahogany box, with gilt brass handles and decorations, ivory plate with signes.
Dial: argentè with roman black numbers for the hours and black indexes for the minutes. Secondary dials at 12 for the power reserve and at 6 for second. Gilt steel hands.
Movement: gilt brass “Full plate” movement with four pillars fixed with fired steel screws, “Fusée and chain” and spring-detent escapement. 56 hours winding.
Signed: on the case and dial " Huges London".
