Case: burr walnut veneered surmounted by a three gilt wood pinnacles, front and sides frets, arched glazed door with three quarter columns, trunk with canted corners and a long door with brass lenticle, the base with canted corners raised on ball feet.

Dial: engraved brass dial whit gilt spandrels, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, silvered alarm in the centre, scrolled signature, day of the moon and moon phases in the arc, subsidiary seconds and aperture for the date, on the left aperture for the month with allegory figures and zodiac signs, on the right aperture for the week with allegory figures and astrology signs.Foliate pierced steel hands.

Movement: anchor escapement and rack Dutch half hour striking on two bells, alarm on a bell.
