Important and rare french table clock.

Case: patinated and gilt bronze with “Griotte” red marble base decorated with gilt bronze relief.

Dial: white enamel dial with black roman numerals for the hours and black arabic numerals for the minutes.

Movement: gilt metal movement with anchor escapement, silk suspention, hours and half hours strike on bell. 15 days winding.

Period: Paris - France, end of the XVIII century, begin of the XIX century.

Signed: on dial: “Barrand à Paris”. The bronze case is attributed to Pierre-Victor Ledure.

Dimentions: cm 70 (height); cm 42 (width); cm 18 (depth).
