Case: Gilt bronze and “Old green” marble. A woman who mirrored sitting on an armchair. The scene includes a tripod for the fire, a little table with a plate, a glass and a jug in gilt bronze. On the front of the clock two gilt bronze friezes of angels that hold lanterns. Four gilt bronze griffins support top of the clock.
Movement: french, anchor escapement with halfs and hours striking, eight days of charge. Gilt bronze hands.
Dial: White enamel with black enamel roman numbers.
Period: Empire, circa 1810.
Signed: Inside the angels lantern there are two letters “ A.R.” (Antoine Ravrio – Bronzist).
