Swiss musical clock (Neuchateloises)
Case: Green / light blue lacquer case with flowers decorations. Fully decorated with gilt bronze friezes.
Movement: swiss with two barrels, verge escapement, wire silk suspention, hours and quarter striking at passage on two bells. Every 60 minutes the strike activate a carillon fusee mechanism on 19 hummers and 12 bells.
Dial: white enamel, with black enamel roman numbers for hours and arab for the minutes, gilt brass
perforated and engraved hands, two hole charge.
Period: Louis XVI, circa 1780.
