Rare pocket watch Cartier with square shape

Case: 18kt yellow gold  N°. 10990 and 15717 square shape with rounded corners, triangular pendant.

Dial: "argenté", with roman numerals for the hours and indexes for the minutes, blue steel hands "Breguet" style.

Movement: Rhodium high quality with "fauuse cotes" decoration. Nineteen jewels, bimetallic and compensated  balancer, anchor escapement, manual charge.

Signed: on the case "European Watch and Clock C°. Inc. France”, on the dial “Cartier France”  and on the movement “E.W.& C. C°.”.

Period and provenance: circa 1920, Paris-France.
