Beautiful and rare genevan-swiss pocket watch with four colours gold "chatelaine", strike of hours and quarters by request.

Case: N°. 2768 18kt four colors gold and decorations in relief.

Dial: white enamel with black roman numerals for the hours and arabs five by five for the minutes. Gold hands with diamonds.

Movement. "fusee and chain", verge escapement, engraved and perforated "coq", strike of the hours and quarters by request.

Chatelaine: four colours 18kt gold with fruits still life and musical instruments decorations, original key and sealing wax stamp.

Signed: on movement “Duchene & Comp.”. Punched at the bottom of the case with a "JR" surmounted by a crown.

Period and provenance: circa 1770/1780, Geneve-Switzerland.
