Silver pocket watch with octagonal shape case, enamels and erotic scene
Case: silver, n° 26328.
Dial: gilt and engraved base plaque with upon a white enamel subsidiary dial for the hours. Two little oval shape enamel on the right and on the left showing two women. At the top a little circular silver door with embossed upon the coat of arms of Kingdom of Hungary, with a little button is possible to open this door concealing an erotic scene polichrome enamel between a monk and a woman.
Movement: gilt bras, fusée and chain, verge escapement, n°26328.
Period and provenance: circa 1800, Geneve-Switzerland-
Signed: "Breguet & Fils" on dial and "Girardier L'Ainé" on movement.
