Italiano 18 kt yellow gold "Lorgnette" with watch made for the Russian market
Case: 18 kt yellow gold, engraved with floreal decorations. Pressing a button the inside glasses jump out and open. At the pressing of a second button a small door open, inside it there is the little watch.
Dial: white enamel with black roman numerals.
Movement: key charge, cylinder escapement, 8 rubys.
Period and provenance: circa 1840, Switzerland.
Epoca: 1840 circa. Svizzera.
Signed: "repassé par M.Kreitz à St. Petersburg". Probably the russian retailer.
